Why YardHopper?
  • PRICE- YardHopper ads are FREE!. Typically a newspaper yardsale ad will cost about 30 dollars. As always our Virtual (online) ads are FREE!

  • EXPOSURE- We aggressively advertise our services each weekend on Google.com. Anyone searching for sale listings who Googles "Yard Sale", "Garage Sale", "Estate Sale", etc... will see our advertisement on Google's first page. If they are in your area, the chances are high that they will see your advertisement.

  • FRONT PAGE- Your ad will ALWAYS be on the front page and not get buried behind other ads. With newspapers you have no idea where your ad will appear.

  • GOOD FOR 30 DAYS- Your YardHopper ad will be visible for 30 days. Newspaper ads are typically displayed between a day to a week.

  • SIZE OF YOUR AD- The size of your ad is up to you and it is always free! With newspapers you are limited unless of course you have hundreds of dollars to spend.

  • PICTURES- You may add up to 10 pictures to a regular sale event ad. For online (virtual) ads, you may add 5 pictures for each item you are selling. With most newspapers, you can't add any pictures.

  • MODIFY YOUR AD- You may modify your ad as many times as you want until the start time of your sale event. With newspapers, once you place your ad you can't modify it. Hope that it does not rain!

  • RECEIVE EMAILS- Your customers will be able to send emails about your ad if they have questions. This is not possible with traditional newspaper ads.

  • DRIVING DIRECTIONS- Every YardHopper ad is linked to MapQuest which will provide driving directions right to your sale event. Newspapers don't.

  • KEEPING IT SIMPLE- Your customers will be able to search all YardHopper sales by city, zip code, date, or keyword. This is not possible with newspapers.

  • NATIONAL SEARCH- See what is going on in cities near you.

  • As you can see YardHopper allows you to have full control of your advertisement and you keep more $$$ in your pocket.
